My Old Normal Was Self Quarantine

How To Streamyard Stacia Kennedy

My normal routine for a long time has been self quarantining, so today’s “New Normal” is really not a lot different for me.

Is it too soon to joke about that? Though on camera I look like a fool and super outgoing. In real life. I am low key.

If I didn’t have such an active little girl I would probably never leave the house.

I would also probably have food delivery and groceries delivered as well. But, my family would probably frown on that.

Yesterday, my friend Shaun in the mortgage industry wanted to interview me about the ins and outs of working from home. It was kind of funny he was telling me…

You have been doing Zoom Meetings before zoom meetings were cool. haha ok.

If you don’t know what Zoom is it is a free platform where you can host meetings and share your screen. It is great for meetings, webinars and more…

You can check Zoom out here.

Of course there is a paid version if you are a power user like myself. If you want to have meetings longer than 40 min and do other cool things like capture leads and do webinars.  Another platform I shared with him is Streamyard.

Streamyard is super user friendly and if you are not techy. Here is a tutorial I recorded over on YouTube. Click Here I show you exactly how to use it.

You might be asking… .

What’s the difference between Zoom and Streamyard

1. I use Zoom for team meetings, or webinars. Great to host and share with the team and capture leads for a webinar. I can also integrate it with clickfunnels and make a nice landing page to capture leads and follow up with them in order to host a training. Guess, what I also have a video on that.

2. Streamyard I like to use for an Interview or Show and I can multi-stream to YouTube, Facebook Business Page, My personal Facebook Profile, Linkedin and more…All at the same time. You can even look like a pro and add your logo, banners and call to actions as you are on live. Feature comments and much more…

Another option that I commonly use is Ecamm Live.

Ecamm Live is great to do solo live streams, where I can share my screen and multi-stream with restream.io as well but the thing that I don’t like is if I want to have guest they would have to join via SKYPE.

Right now I don’t know many people who still use skype so I had a bit of an issue convincing my guest to jump on skype.

I still love Ecamm LIVE and love to add my intro video, banners and some other cool techy stuff with it. Of course, I would never leave you hanging I have another tutorial and review over on my YouTube Channel.

So the difference between Ecamm Live and Streamyard. If you consider yourself non-techy i’d suggest to go with Streamyard. They make things super simple for my guests.

I can preschedule my live-stream event and then simply give them a link to join and they don’t have to download anything to their computer at all.

I love Streamyard and Ecamm Live for the fact that I can preschedule my live-stream events and that way I can start promoting the post where the video will go live a head of time. I can send people the link and people will not have to guess…

🤷

where is this video going live at?

I hope this was a useful email. I do try to send out things that are valuable. If you have any questions feel free to reply back. I do try my best to get back to you asap.

Much Love & Aloha,

Stacia Kennedy
